Nina Sharp-Hebb

Nina is starting her fourth season with the Gandy Dancer Theatre. Nina plays an important role at our theatre as our featured performer/vocalist, co-producer, choreographer, costuming, and comedic writer. Nina started performing at an early age and hasn’t stopped since. Her talent and determination has led her to open for Nashville acts such as: Josh Turner, Joe Nichols, Daryl Worley, Kellie Pickler, Lonestar, Lee Brice, Thompson Square, Sawyer Brown, Jamey Johnson, Jimmy Wayne, Blackhawk, John Conlee, Billy Ray Cyrus and many more. Nina was honored to feature in a webisode with the greatest Nashville musicians in the business in a pilot called The Session Players where she was chosen to be the vocalist. She has also been blessed to record two albums in Nashville with those same musicians. She has held two state titles, West Virginia and Ohio, in the biggest country talent search in the nation and has performed in multiple venues in the eastern part of the United States. Nina also spends her free-time, which is few and far between, writing her own songs which was featured on her last all original album. Nina prides herself of being a lover of all genres of music and shows that on our stage, singing a wide range of those genres including classic country, motown, gospel, oldies, rock and roll and today’s country hits. Her energy and love of music on our stage is unmatched
Nina has her elementary education degree and teaches in Upshur County. She is blessed to share the stage at the Gandy Dancer Theatre with her husband of seven years and is in the process of adopting her first child, Harlie. She now resides in Buckhannon, WV with her husband, daughter and three dogs.
